Privacy Policy
How MapGuesser handles data: local statistics, analytics, advertising and your choices.
Last updated: 31 October 2026
MapGuesser is a game, not an account service. The browser game does not ask for your name, email or location, and it does not have a login.
What is stored
- On your device: your game statistics, streaks, language and map preferences are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time.
- Server logs: like any website, the server and its CDN process IP addresses and request metadata for security and performance.
- Analytics: if enabled, we use aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and modes are used. No advertising profiles are built from the browser game.
Android app
The Android app stores your progress on the device. It uses Google AdMob for advertising; AdMob may collect device identifiers and approximate data as described in Google's privacy policy. The app asks for consent where required and lets you hide ads on the device.
Your choices
You can clear local data from Settings or your browser, block analytics with a content blocker, and uninstall the app at any time. For questions, contact [email protected].
