DRAW THE REGION
Draw the Country from Memory
The hardest and most memorable mode: a country is named, its border is hidden, and you draw the outline from memory. Scoring uses an equal-area projection, so Russia is not punished for being big and high-latitude. After you submit, the map shows the target outline over your drawing and gives you a score.
How it works
- Read the target region name.
- Draw its outline with your finger or mouse on the clean map.
- Use undo or clear; pan without losing your strokes.
- Submit to see the target outline over your drawing and your score.
How is a drawing scored?
The target and your drawing are compared in an equal-area space; the closer they overlap, the higher the score, up to 5,000 points.
What do I see after submitting?
The target outline is drawn on the map over your own line, alongside your score.
Which regions can I draw?
256 countries and territories, plus 51 US states, 13 Canadian provinces, 8 Australian states and 4 UK nations.
Why is my score lower than I expected?
The score is strict: drawing outside the border counts against you as much as missing it.
